Polyester plate that excels in transparency and various resistances

Estella is a PET plate that offers the highest level of transparency among transparent plastics and various types of resistance.
It is used for a wide range of industrial applications such as displays, store advertisements, miscellaneous goods for stores such as partitions and cases, amusement and game equipment components, and machine covers.
Our lineup of products also includes Estella Super with greatly enhanced heat resistance and impact resistance and Estella Ecogreen made of eco-friendly recycled PET bottles.

Estella Features

High transparency

It has the highest transparency (total light transmittance 90% or more) among various transparent plastics.

Impact resistance

Excellent impact strength, so no risk of cracks as there is with acrylic. It is also strong against low temperature impact.

Excellent processability

Similar to other plastics, easy machining such as cutting, punching, drilling and bending.

Excellent printing compatibility

Compatible with screen printing.

Excellent thermoforming processability

Pre-drying is unnecessary and low temperature molding is possible. Processing lead time can be reduced, and molded products with less uneven thickness can be obtained due to uniform extensibility

Strong chemical resistance and flame resistance

Excellent chemical resistance and flame resistance. Offers better performance such as improvement of thermal resistance by crystallization.

Estella Super Features

Thermal resistance

Has enhanced thermal resistance compared to the regular PET product and can be used in a higher temperature range.

Impact resistance

Has greatly enhanced impact resistance strength compared to the regular PET product. Can be made thinner to suit the application. Also excellent low temperature impact.

Chemical resistance

Superior resistance to various types of chemicals, similar to the regular PET product.

Transparency

Maintains the same level of transparency as the regular PET product.

Adherence

Use of adhesive for PET-G or rigid PVC achieves the same adhesion strength as SEKISUI SEIKEI’s Esbilon plate (PVC) or Estella plate (PET-G). (SEKISUI SEIKEI evaluation using internal measurement methods)

Estella Ecogreen Features

Eco-friendly blend design

Certified with the PET bottle reuse symbol and eco symbol.

High transparency

Maintains a high level of transparency even with the use of recycled bottle material.

Excellent processability

Similar to other plastics, easy machining such as cutting, punching, drilling and bending.
