Steritainer Plus is a sterilization validated single-use bag specialized for all processes from research and development to manufacturing in the fields of bio-pharmaceuticals and regenerative medicine. Our unique blow
molding technology creates a 3D shape with the benefits of both regular single- use bags and hard bottles to save space and increase strength. They enable easy storage and transport of liquid products in a sterile environment for all types of bio processes.
Blow molding + single- use: Features of Steritainer 3D single-use sterile bags
Single-use sterile bags that have reached a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of ≤10^-6
- Sterile single- use bag: Eliminate the need for cleaning and sterilizing and can be used right after opening.
- Individually wrapped: Each bag is individually wrapped so you can efficiently use only the amount you need each time.
- Sterilization validated: Has reached a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of ≤10^-6 so they can be used safely without requiring additional validation.
Single- use bags up to 20 L in size with a 3D shape created by our unique blow molding technology
- Space saving design: The 3D shape saves space, allowing it to be installed in locations with restricted space such as sterile chambers.
- Self-supporting: The bags stand on their own and the contents can be stirred with a stirrer similar to glass containers.
- Cube shape: High dissolution efficiency when stirring and enables quick preparation of powder medium.
High-strength design that is suited to long-distance transportation and frozen storage
- Integrated blow molding: Having no seams, the bag is extremely strong and can even be used for frozen transport as temperatures as low as -40°C.
Detachable tubing units for a closed system connection
- 3-port connector: A 3-port connector is available as an optional part for liquid discharge and filling and for air. Using the sterile connector with the Steritainer enables a sterile closed connection even in regular environments.
- Choose the connector you need: There are two types of connectors for different tube diameters from which you can choose for your machinery.
- Detachable connector: The connector is detachable, enabling manual filling of liquids and powders into the sterile chamber, similar to a glass container.

Optional parts
3-port connector set
The 3-port connector is designed for content discharge and filling and for air. There are two types available to match the tube diameter. Using the sterile connector with the Steritainer enables a sterile closed connection even in regular environments. The connector is detachable, so it can be used in a variety of situations. Two types of connectors are provided in a sterilized individually wrapped package.
3-Port Connector Assembly
The 3-port connector assembly is a set containing the 3-port connector, tubes, and couplers. It is sterilized and can be set up easily to create a sterile closed connection with other devices and reduce the risk of contamination.
Two types of 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch assembly are provided for use in a variety of situations.
Optional parts
Flip rack for Steritainer Plus (for both 10 L and 20 L)
Space-saving rack for both 10 L and 20 L containers used for
content injection into and discharge from Steritainers. Residue can be completely discharged by flipping the container upside down with just a single operation.
Outer Container for Storage
A plastic outer container that can be stacked for storage of content-filled Steritainers and moving of Steritainers around the facility.
They can be stacked up to three high, saving space in refrigerators.
When not in use, they can be nested.
Optional parts
Steritainer Plus stand
Creating a space under the stand when performing work in a safety cabinet enables content discharge without turning the Steritainer upside down. It also enables discharge while measuring the contents with a scale. This stand is for situations where a flip rack is too large.
Steritainer Plus filling holder
Holds the mouth of the bag to enable easy filling of content
through the opening of the safety cabinet. Enables use of Steritainer as an alternative to flasks and bottles.
